Beck is a newbie. Like most of them, he’s in a candy store for the first time. Wolfing down this and that because its all new to him. Worse with him because he’s not a kid. He’ll get grounded eventually. He’ll read more deeply. But to call those of us who know more than he does, “simpletons” is...well...just what I would expect actually.

Beck just said he thinks “I contend that most Americans are libertarians because they want that freedom . . .”

So why don’t they vote that way Glenn? Why do we have abortion laws? Why aren’t drugs legal? Why do voters reject gay marriage? Why do we have laws regulating banks? Why has every proposal to privatize Social Security much less abolish it been rejected? Why do we have “entangling” foreign relationships? Why do we have trade and immigration laws?

-—————————————BECAUSE they got an education for the last year, watching Glenn Beck..! Watch the FLIP, it’s coming. The paradigm has already shifted...

You’re the moron who took a single statement from an entire show and dangled it like bait for other non watchers to attack.

I don’t doubt you probably vote democrat like your behavior suggests.

Lets stir the political cauldron a bit more.

The principles of the libertarian agenda support: serious cuts in defense spending; downsizing of the military; destruction of our nuclear weapons; no military conscription whatsoever; relaxed immigration laws; open borders; repeal of all laws establishing criminal or civil penalties for the use of illicit drugs; drug legalization; relaxed worker safety regulations; dismantling of the criminal justice system; abolishing the citizen jury system; relaxing occupational licensing regulations; legalized prostitution; militant gay rights agenda; abolishing all taxation; and continued abortion on demand.

This is not political conservatism. It’s anarchy.

I only listen to RUSH
He almost daily mentions the fact Obama has shown no proof who he is.

WTF was up with the show tonight? 4 minutes of show followed by 4 minutes of commercials for the whole freaking hour. I finally said the hell with it.

Sheesh, what is your problem? I honestly don’t know where I would fall, I am still learning and rethinking things. And I’d appreciate you not putting words in my mouth.

FYI, I have always voted Republican.

It is just I feel the government is ridiculously, enomorously huge. And much of what they do, I feel should be done at the state level.

I don’t mind paying taxes for certain things federal, like national defense, and other roles spelled out in the constitution.

And yes I happen to think that individual rights in the constitution apply to babies.

You’re the moron who took a single statement from an entire show and dangled it like bait for other non watchers to attack.

This isn't bait nor "taken out of context" as liberals would say. It is important. He just suggested to millions of Americans that they are libertarians. If I were a member of the Libertarian Party, that would delight me. He just gave the party a free ad, while doing his usual Democrat and Republican schtick. He never says, to my knowledge, anything bad about libertarianism. And there are negatives to it, ya know.

I don’t doubt you probably vote democrat like your behavior suggests.

If I were a Democrat, I would cheer the Libertarian party. It helped Harry Reid squeak out a 401 vote win in 1998 (the LP got over 6,000). It joined with Greens to contest the 2004 Ohio vote. The transitory licentiousness of such movements empowers statists. Which is why Democrats smile in the face of the LP.

Seeing a drop in high paying sponsors. Has to make up in more small paying sponsors, hence more commercial breaks.

What happened to HIM? Followed him years ago and then caught him on MSNBC a week or so ago ragging on conservatives.

Very true. It is a part when on a ballot that only spells bad news for the GOP.
