You nailed 100!
I’m not a computer guru so I don’t know if this means anything or not. While I was on this thread and at exactly 9:03 p.m. my computer security system popped up saying that there was a HIGH severity risk, an intrusion attempt, and that it was blocked. It was an HTTP Suspicious Executable Image Download. I have the attacking computer’s number and URL.
The only window I had open and the only program running was Windows and this forum. Does that mean anything? Or can an attack come in spite of where I am in cyberspace at the time of attack?
It’s magic. Where the hell is the poster of this stupid thread anyway? Only a whole bunch of FReepers to answer. I wonder what the problem is. :^)
Somebody posted a picture, or link, that your computer security software had tagged.
It’s only a picture or link. Don’t go back and click on it.
No worries.
In reality, this isn’t his first vote. He voted NO on an obama confirmation. That was a good vote. Just what do people expect? He said he will vote for the good of the people of MA. We don’t even know what’s in this job bill to be taking a position yet.
Good grief, grow up!
Justin, All your new facebook friends need some answers. Where are you?
ACORN is alive and well, but, so is the Tea Party. Its our counter to the ACORN trash.
I’m running a corporate version of Symantec and it has never given a warning about FR.
Thanks much, Jet Jaguar. Does that mean it was a picture or link that was posted on this website? Or could it have been from e-mails I checked a few hours ago?
I’ll take your advice and not worry about it. Sure am glad my son taught me to keep a good security system going and always update those virus updates too. Sort of freaked me out though when I saw that window pop up. heh heh
I’ve got the latest Norton/Symantec protection too. There’s free stuff out there but I’ve always had good luck, if you will, with Norton. And I upgraded it this year. So when that window popped up in all it’s black and white glory, I was worried enough to close this window, shut down the computer, then reboot and check my Norton security history. That’s when I found the details.
What say we give the guy a little longer in office before crucifying him? The word fickle comes to mind, and I’m not applying it to Scott Brown.
If I may ask, was it Norton/Symantec that popped or another adware/spyware application you may be using?
I say before we try to end his career on Facebook, I say we pass out torches and pitchforks and chase him through the countryside. Than makes more sense to me.
It’s probably a picture from photobucket or such.
I often posts pictures that are from .mil sites, and it produces a warning about certificates.
Meaning, a non-.mil computer is trying or is accessing a .mil site without the proper credentials.
No worries.
I think you deserve the derision. There are NO folk that are all hot and bothered. So far, it’s you and 0099 or whatever his handle is.
Sorry, he has made his choice... Sure you can give him another few votes, but come on...most knew already that he was not a conservative - but a good block against Obamacare. Anything else he does supportive is just gravy... He is a liberal Republican at heart and conservatives should not continue to support him. He has and hopefully will continue to do his job against this health care bill...
Different animals.
The Tea Party folks believe in in limited government, the Constitution, honesty, integrity. ACORN is filled with crooks and scum who fill ballot boxes with hundreds of thousands of phoney IDs.
Thank you!
