As it has been explained to me...

Currently industrialized countries became economically successful by killing the indigenous people and raping the land. We are now so morally advanced that we do not allow such activities, so economically disadvantaged regions of the world need resources that they cannot collect in the same manner that we did 100 years ago. We are now morally obligated - because of our callousness - to divert our ill-gotten wealth to help advance these third world countries. Because we are still morally corrupt, we evil capitalists will not willingly divert our ill-gotten gains, so it is morally justifiable to deceive us with the global warming fraud and use said fraud to divert our vast wealth to the world's poor via carbon credits.

Ya’ see, if we weren't so darn greedy they wouldn't have to lie to us. It is really our fault that they were driven to deception. They didn't want to lie, but we left them no option.

Same logic should be applied to all news outlets but Fox. They are hemmoraging viewers at a pace that threatens to knock them out of business. The problem isn’t competition. The problem is what they choose to report - and not choose to report. Any one of the three networks would destroy it’s competition if it dedicated it’s news resources fairly across the political spectrum. They don’t though - and that’s why they’ll eventually go the way of Newsweek and the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
