plus she was hot even if unbalanced
Thank you. I thought that statement needed correcting.
Academics is absolutely full of people with huge egos. People with those types of egos have a hard time losing. That's in part why universities are not meritocracies. In order for meritocracy to work, people have to accept when others genuinely do better than them. This often doesn't happen in universities. When someone does better, the answer is to find a way around this, politically or otherwise. Academics is full of people whose mothers told them they were 'special', and they never matured enough to get passed the need to believe this about themselves. They must perpetuate this self image, at the expense of their own lives and happiness, or at the expense of those who stand in the way of their egos.
Wonder if she had a ‘Coakley for Senate’ sign in her yard? Brown winning in her home state probably sent her over the edge...
What a shock...progressives from the north move down south, and start telling the residents how they SHOULD live their lives...maybe no one ever told Bishop that the locals "don't give a damn how they do it up north".
The Shooter lives next door to one of my many Cousins. My cousin says she is “strange.” She would send her kids over to my Cousin’s house to play even when it was not convenient for my Cousin.
Thoughtless? Seems so. Self-absorbed? Definitely so.
I feel sorry for her kids.
:-) Yes...she was beautiful!
What are Alabama’s gun laws w.r.t. college campuses? My guess either it is against the law to carry a weapon on school grounds (even post secondary) with few exceptions; or, the college/university in question has a policy against weapons on campus.
I'm not so sure about that. There are some jobs that provide great financial leverage such that saving a company $10 million or so every few years should be sufficient to maintain employment as long as the whole company is also profitable.
