Now we have a pro-life advocate who certainly understands them.

Actually, she doesn't understand them at all. If she did she wouldn't use language which allows that abortion is a matter of choice.

If you go back and read the transcripts of her interviews during the late campaign you will see that she consistently plays these kind of semantic games which give away the argument before there has even been one.

What the libs don’t realize that today is is Downs children, tomorrow it will be children with minor genetic disorders that are easily survivable like Turners, Kleinfelters, etc.... After that it will be those who may have minor genetic diseases like genetic obesity, or any number of minor but easily treatable disorders.
What if there were a detectable "gay gene"? I bet libs would ban abortions!

Yeah, keep digging Mr Petty.

We all know you're here to diss Sarah Palin cause you want Alan Keyes to lead conservatives.

Trying to tear her down in this small, petty way is kind of unseemly and doesn't help your candidate.

My opposition to Sarah Palin has nothing to do with Alan Keyes. If I thought her abortion position was solid I would say so. Unfortunately, it most definitely is not.

Sorry, it has everything to do with your support for Alan Keyes.

You need to tear her down anway you can, and you try real hard here.

The pettiness of your approach isn't working fwiw.

There’s nothing petty about the protection of the unalienable right to life.

I’m not here supporting any candidate. I’m here pointing out that not killing your child is not something to brag about or something to be used to score political points. At least it wasn’t when people still had some sense of decency or propriety.

The Rosary OnlineGotta to love that she loves how much "outrage" this will produce on the left.

If Sarah was featured in a story by Deacon Keith Fournier, published on Catholic Online, [after] her "true" conversion to the Catholic faith, I can assure you, we'd feel the earth shake from the collective thud of pro-aborts hitting the ground. Although I didn't read Sarah's book, it seems a certain amount, anyway, was surely written with the purpose of "getting even," and since she made scads of money from this book (by "quitting" her job and writing it), maybe she feels her book was a success.

But if there aren't the same amount of words in her book used toward the pro-life message (and done so with earnest and depth), I would consider her book to be yet another failed opportunity for her (and there have been several) to get out the pro-life message. In Depth Weekly seems to be a copycat publication of People; who is she trying to appeal to? I think Sarah's hopes of getting in the White House (if she has these hopes) have all but gone up in smoke. There are those that feel she is not bright enough to be the president, and I don't know if she's humble enough to be the vice-president, but she surely knows how to embarrass herself time and time again via a weak faith driving her ambitions. Sarah, you can do better!

Yeah? If Grandma starts to be a burden and a politician doesn't off them, is that now worthy of political bragging rights?

Given where obamacare seems to be ultimately directed, I would say yes for that politician, and yes or Grandma's family.

She does take a very pro-life stance in “Going Rogue” and I don’t know what else she could say about the subject in it.

As for her converting to Catholicism, the book recounts how she was a baptised Catholic, but converted at a young age. As a Catholic I do not hold that against her as apparently it was not reaching her for whatever reason.

Abortion laws will not change until change until the peoples’ hearts change and they are willing to vote that way. Peoples’ hearts will not change because of rhetoric, they need to be shown that life is the right “choice.” If that happens, it will be largely immaterial whether abortion is completely banned or not. The first goal is to convice people of the wrongness of abortion w/o regard to its legality.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Palin does little to actually enforce in people’s hearts and minds the foundational American principles that make abortion wrong.

I will have to see if I can get a copy of her book. No one ever seems to talk about her pro-life message within its pages, so I'm happy to hear they are there. I don't currently see Sarah handling the life/death issue of abortion with depth, however.

I've read she was baptized Catholic, and Hail Marys from me go up for her to return, because I can visualize her fighting the good fight, but I also feel she needs the toughest armor available to win this particular battle, and it isn't yet evident -- through her current faith -- that she garners these strengths within her. [Only my opinion.]

Lou ... "this" is the type of message I wish Sarah Palin would come out with ... I know she can't do THIS particular tape because it didn't apply to her, but I feel at times she wears Trig around her neck like a "pro-life medal," when in fact, so very many mothers love their less-than-what's-deemed-perfect child [you might want to grab a tissue].

"Bristol on her struggles as a teen mom and finding love after Levi"

I hope they're not implying she is having or seeking another relationship, with the possibility of this happening again.

That was part of the problem the first time around. That, and having no parents around to supervise her. Sarah Palin herself said she had no idea what Bristol & Levi were up to. As a parent, I don't care how busy you are, that is your responsibility.

I'd argue with you, but you seem to have some sort of semantic game going on. You're obviously using your terms in a different way than most people use them.
