Eagerly awaiting for Rush’s show to start and hearing him tell us, in person, how he is doing.
A few years back, I had on my profile a side-by-side comparison of the DU reaction to Cheney being rushed to the hospital for chest pains and the FR reaction to B.J. Clinton being rushed to the hospital for chest pains.
I should dig them up and repost them. The difference was mind-blowing.
Kill Haole day is pretty much taboo, has been since we’ve lived here. I mentioned Texas because, while we admire the general politics of the state, our son encountered serious bullying there with reverse discrimination thrown in. A black kid as ringleader along with some follower kids would harass him the minute a teacher left the room, but no one ever punished the bully because he was one of the “protected.” Military and civilian didn’t mix that well there either. I should specify this was just the Fort Hood area, not the entire state. I had no intent of slamming your state wherever it may be, just comparing our personal experiences in a state supposedly tolerant of conservatives.
Our kids attended a Christian school in Mililani where bullying was not tolerated by anybody. Our son took driver ed at Waipahu High School and had no trouble. Yes he has blond hair, blue eyes, and was very small for his age, which was part of the problem in Texas. He’s currently a student at UH and has had no problems there either.
