People do that on Twitter to get you to click on their link to a malicious website. You can ignore it.
After hearing about Twitter during the Iran protests earlier this year, I was able to follow it pretty well with a lot of insider information there...real time reports, videos etc.
Then I saw how some scum get wind of a Twitter keyword and start posting a bunch of garbage on it.
