“Swift justice” for failing? What would CAIR’s position be if he had succeeded?

This is the equivalent of the ACLU putting in a good word for Rush Limbaugh's free speech rights occasionally.
It's not the bombers mission they object to, just his tactics and competence.

They’re just getting their PR machine working. The other approach (saying what they really believed), was kinda backfiring.
The proper PR helps get the enemy (i.e., AMERICANS) to lower their guard.

Heres a muslim caught trying to blow up a U.S. jetliner. Theyre not going to be able to fake this one.
I don't know. The White House is trying to "fake it", saying that the real criminals here are the GOP for making terrorism a "partisan" issue.
I think CAIR spoke too soon. If they'd waited a couple of days they could have joined the outrage of the White House at the terrorism of the tea-party response to this "non-serious incident".

To: Diogenesis
Exactly!
We were screaming at the TV last nite every time they said an “attempted” attack or a “thwarted” attack. The guy managed to set the wall of the frickin plane on fire, the only reason there wasn’t a mass slaughter was because he wasn’t especially good at his job.
Rest assured, there tech support is working on the problem to prevent future incidents.
