That is not unreasonable. In fact, it's a key supporting detail of the entire argument. If it exists, it has a name. What is that name?

I would argue that you are the one demonstrating hypersensitivity, inasmuch as you weren't even originally part of this subdiscussion to begin with. But to answer your question, it is bad when people are wrong, and it is worse to allow them to remain wrong. BykrBayb would be just as wrong if she had claimed mind control rays from UFOs had influenced the behavior of the thugs who attacked this kid.

By stepping in to defend said post 35, you were assenting to the views contained within: if you didn't assent, you wouldn't have bothered to launch a defense in the first place. I hope to find out exactly what game it is you believe set the stage for this assault. There are indeed violent video games that comprise a small percentage of the total amount of video games available for play. None of those games involve severely assaulting middle school kids, which is the glaring fact that renders your assertion in post 66 baseless.

I lived in that area. The attackers were black and the reason for the attack was the girl who was accidentally hit by a basketball told her “tough” friends she was “dissed” by the a white boy. That’s all it takes to rile up the animals.

Notice the media posts a photo of the victim but none of the perps. Notice that when it’s a boy victim getting beaten, they list his name but not the perps’ names. If this was a girl who was raped and beaten, they’d list the perps’ names and photos but not the victim’s.
