That was always true. i.e. Once the English monarchy was restored following Oliver Cromwell’s shortlived republic...Cromwell was assigned the blame for genocide in Ireland.
So, in fact, there has always been post-conflict revisionism in addition to what we are now experiencing - pre-conflict propaganda.
They know the Communist playbook all too well, and can easily see the wolf under the 'green' sheep's clothing. They have been discovering that their modest, timid steps in the direction of free market Capitalism have been quite lucrative and they don't want the 'useful idiots' of the 'green movement' to spoil things, I'm sure.
Cromwell did commit genocide in Ireland. There’s a street called Scarlet Street in a town in Ireland, so-named because of the blood flowing through their streets, committed by Cromwell and his murdering cutthroats.
