Yeah, he’s not running.
BUT, for the first time since his sorry A$$ went to Washington, he has real power in his hands. They need his vote. They took it for granted. They dissed him. He’s not only putting his thumb in their eyes, which he is doing, but he’s also floating a trial baloon to see if he just couldn’t force the Machine to get hisself reelected.
Probably won’t work, but if you have even the slightest idea of how vain this guy is (already engraved his tombsone with all his accomplishments), you’d realize that he may think it just might work and that he’ll never hold this much power in his ambitious little fingers again. So why not see how much he can get for it?
Ya right. He’s a good little Marxist and he will do as he’s told.
This is simply another version of the “Chicago way” — when you are not threatening and coercing people, or bribing them yourself, hold our your “vote” or influence until the price is right.
Burris saw what Landrieu got and knows HE can be very well taken care of in his post-Senate life, given the huge sums of money at stake.
He wants a Barry deal where he does not lose his seat.....
