America would vanish for eternity, it would seem. It’s now or never.

Getting rid of the crooks as a matter of principle would be a good thing, but I don't think it's going to make much difference on the debt side because the damage has already been done. I read somewhere that the unfunded liability for both Medicare and Social Security combined is in the range of $107 trillion in today's dollars, not even counting what might be added by Obama and the ‘Rats with their proposed schemes. How in the world can we ever hope to pay for what is on the books already, much less what might be added in the future? We're already in hock for a liability that is seven times the size of the whole US economy, 10 times the size of the outstanding national debt. It boggles the mind. When I talk to people about it, they simply tune it out. It is beyond their capacity to grasp, kind of like trying to get ones mind around the size of intergalactic space. It's beyond our experience. It is that which leads me to believe that the likely result will simply be collapse of the whole house of cards.

I've had the same experience. Most people have been "dumbed down" so they can't grasp basic economics and when you explain it to them they just can't believe the politicians would have let it get as bad as it is.

My SO tonight scoffed when I said another civil war may be brewing. But then again, this person knows nothing about Lieberman, Reid or Pelosi and the course of evil they are charting. They said, “yeah I know Obama is a lousy Dem and all, but a civil war? Cmon!”

I think it is now or never.

I’m doing just that. I’m self employed and I’ve cut my workload WAY back. And Zero and his regime are the reason. Most of my stuff is paid for, and I am enjoying the time off. Little to no income tax out of my pocket this year, I’m not funding the enemy. I know everyone can’t do this, especially if they are not self employed, but they ought to do what they can to reduce their tax liability. Cut overtime back, if they can.

Thats right. They don’t care whether it’s a $5 pack of Kools or 500 millon to buy the votes they want. It’s not their money, anyway, and there are no consequenses for what they do, so why should they not? They have no ethics or morals.

You’re both doing the right thing but at this point I am wondering if even starving the beast will have any effect. It seems the ‘Rats don’t need our tax dollars anymore to do the things they want to do. They simply print more money. I know the government has always spent more money than they have, but the ‘Rats have taken it to a whole new level. They’ve added a couple more zeros on the end of the number on the check they’ve written themselves. The unfunded liability for Medicare and Social Security is already over $100 trillion, and these bums are talking about adding tens of trillions more. It’s like an alcoholic who thinks one more drink won’t hurt them, they’re already falling down drunk and in the gutter. Trouble is, they’re gonna die.
