My prayers as well.
At the time my 4 year old son had an asmatha attack and was not initially responding to treatment. In a few hours he did, thank God!

I am praying for Benjamin.
Years ago our oldest son ran high temps for several days.
But it was normal for him to run very high temps for the least little thing.
The Dr. put him in Children’s Hospital, and after some tests we learned he had viral meningitis and encephalitis.
The temps began to subside after meds, but it was very scary for our family for several days.
Please don’t fear and trust the Lord Jesus.

Prayer up for Benjamin and his family.
We went trough some tough times several years ago with my son. Leukemia.
Freeper prayers were very comforting.
Dwell only on the good things from God. Chase away the bad thoughts with God's word.

I had Pnemonia a few times, and I know it’s no picnic, but if he’s an otherwise healthy boy he should pull out of it just fine. I’m not a doctor, but I’m a bit sceptical about amoxicillan though, because it didn’t help me. I needed a stronger antibiotic, and then I got better within a few days. I believe the antibiotic was Levaquin.
When he gets better, look into a vaccine that’s available. I got it about 10 years ago and haven’t had Pneumonia since.
