Kind of a cheap shot. We don't know if the father actually said it. But beyond that, parents sometimes put things in their children's mouths. If she didn't like the school and didn't make friends, her father might have come to a conclusion on his own.

To assume that she harbors some deep-seated hatred of Asians is absurd. She went from one close-knit community into another and it can be hard to go from being deeply a part of an Alaskan town to just being alone and feeling different in Hawaii.

But, gee, I really wish Obama's background had gotten as much of a going over before the election as Palin's has.

The Left is desperate. Now they are digging out the race card from their trick book. It is their favorite tactic because in order to fight such an attack you have to prove a negative.

Almost every conservative has had to fight the charge of racism. The Left digs out the race card as if it was an addiction. Yet, when you look closely at the Left, they are as racist as it gets. They are up to their eyeballs in identity politics. We know that cloaked in that racist armor is Marxism and, at least, socialism. We know that the old Soviet Union tried to infiltrate the civil rights movement and tried to use it to cause chaos. This same methods of race war have not been forgotten by the Left. This is why the Left uses the race card. It is because of their connections with the Communists of a earlier time, who handed down their play book for the new Left to use in their march towards Marxism.
