As you heard Glenn Beck implore on today's radio show,a fresh look at the Cloward/Piven strategy, and how it fits Obsma's agenda.

RICO addresses long-term, not one-shot, criminal activity. Not only must a RICO claim be based upon criminal activity, but the criminal acts must constitute a “pattern” of criminal activity. A single criminal act, short-term criminal conduct, or criminal actions that bear no relationship to each other will not give rise to a RICO claim. The United States Supreme Court has ruled that criminal actions constitute a “pattern” only if they are related and continuous. In order to be “related,” the criminal acts must involve the same victims, have the same methods of commission, involve the same participants, or be related in some other fashion. A pattern may be sufficiently continuous if the criminal actions occurred over a substantial period of time or posed a threat of indefinite duration. The former patterns are referred to as closed-ended patterns; the latter patterns are referred to as open-ended patterns. Accordingly, even if you have been injured by a criminal act, you will not have a RICO claim unless that criminal act is part of a larger pattern of criminal activity.
Can this be applied to our friends to bring them down?

No

But where we are headed if the elections don't turn this around is a court case by a state seeking to secede.

The irony is that the Cloward/Piven strategy leads to national bankruptcy, which is what collapsed the USSR. They didn't think it through very well. You might be able to bring down the economy, but the result will be a repudiation of leftist policies as happened in New Jersey and Virginia in the last election. It won't usher in a socialist/communist state as ideologues like Cloward and Piven hoped for.

ACORN founders were inspired by Cloward/Piven and saw themselves as implementors of the strategy, according to their biographies. Cloward/Piven were influenced by Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. (I posted the citations a couple of months ago and will search for them).

“Democrat plan for success in the mid-term elections is to win by destroying political opposition”

Ah, you assume the Liberals will not find a crisis to justify suspending the 2010 elections. Either that or they will give amnesty to the 12 - 20 million illegals in exchange for their votes.

Andy Stern of SEIU is marshalling the union thuggery to impliment suppression of opposition tot he fascist policies of this affirmative action bastard’s reich. The strategy now being applied is to so disable the Amewrican eceonomy and so shred the employment through ‘small businesses’ as to make unionized industries the strongfer survivors while ending the dollar and bringing in a world ciurrency. When you go to a hospital and are ‘tended’ only by SEIU folks, it will finally occur to folks that the we the people Republic has ended. The new money in the wallet will not quite bring it home to the average citizen. The number of families dependent upon the government for survival is growing exponentially ... by design, by design.

And just for fun and futility I sent another email to my wonderful Senator about this very subject:

Senator Isakson,
I have read your press release praising the passage of the Worker, Homeownership and Business Assistance Act of 2009. I noted that your press release did not mention that this ‘victory’ was attached to legislation that also extends unemployment benefits and is awash with the typical Washington exemptions and anachronistic gerrymandering such as the Railroad Unemployment Insurance Act and the First-time Homebuyer Credit for District of Columbia. Though I noted the joy of your fellow realtors, I was saddened to see a unanimous vote in the Senate. Once more the government supposedly by the people and for the people is using the tax codes to decide who the winners are and who the losers are.
You, Sir, either actively or passively, are contributing to the Cloward-Piven strategy that is destroying the greatest Republic in the history of the world. I am ashamed to call you my Senator. Is it really so vital to the supposedly conservative leadership in Washington to feel like they are part of the process? Even when that process is destroying our country?
The President of the United States is seizing powers that rival his comrade in Venezuela, our economy is on the brink of ushering in the next dark ages and our Senators are busy distributing more money. Truly disgusting. Enjoy your power while it lasts.
Ask yourself one question. Are your day to day actions more like those of our founding fathers … or the Politburo?

Sincerely,

The last two days Sean has been unable to recognize seminar callers, spending long futile minutes arguing with them like speaking past each other. I doubt Sean will 'get it' when someone brings the Cloward-Piven startegy to his attention as the modus perendi of this affirmative action fraud-in-chief's administration.

George Soros made billions crashing the British Pound, and will make more billions crashing the dollar via his oval office puppet with Stern pulling the fool's strings.
