While I largely agree with your post, a lot of these kebab shops are - anecdotally! - money laundering fronts for the muzzie drug trade. Like Italy (or any other country) really needs yet one more ‘Mafia’ organization.... Gotta start someplace, when ‘human rights’ legislation bars you from taking more direct measures.

Sound to me like someone got creative in tackling a bigger problem. Kudos from me!

Y'all missed something in the story.

Mr Zaia said that those ethnic restaurants allowed to operate “whether they serve kebabs, sushi or Chinese food” should “stop importing container loads of meat and fish from who knows where” and use only Italian ingredients.

It's the CONTAINERS LOADS OF MEAT AND FISH FROM WHO KNOWS WHERE that are being stopped. They can serve what they want, but the kabobs must be made of ONLY ITALIAN INGREDIENTS.

I'll betcha that someone hinted at the containers containing more than just "meat" and "fish." Or maybe that the meet and fish were not killed in sanitary facilities. Or that something was being smuggled in with the meat and fish.

I got rid of moles in my yard the same way. Every spring I douse my yard with “Sevin”, it kills the ants and grubs and with their food source gone, the moles don’t come to my yard.

Given, the muzzies are nastier than moles, so it might not work with them.
