The figures on initial claims are one part of the picture. The other half which is ignored are people leaving the rolls. Did they just stop collecting before their benefits expired? If so we must assume they found work of some kind. If they exhausted their benefits then that's really bad because they're still unemployed. It also shows longer and longer waits for a new job. Let's not even get into those who had to take a cut in pay. Either way Barry is saying NOTHING and I mean NOTHING about this other than vague platitudes. Everything is about healthcare and that's scaring the Shiite out of employers because everyday a new “gotcha” is found in this legislation.
