You and I both know that - of course the commercials gloss over that bit of detail.

I thought the same thing, "Why is he giving Zpack antibiotics if he thinks it's the flu? Just to shut the mother up?" If it were me, I'd put the kid on naturopathic colostrum and Viralox and sit up with her all night to watch that fever with an ice pack ready.

But I don't have kids, so I'm not allowed to say anything.

Doc gave her Zpack, Tamiflu, etc.

Z Pack, aka Azithromycin, a fairly potent antibiotic and is worthless in treating the flu unless the patient has pneumonia post flu.

This is the warning not to use this product where flu and other viruses are suspected: “Azithromycin will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu.”

You forgot about the stockpiles of tamiflu and other anti- virals. Much money to be had in producing a virulent strain. I bet they are in the lab rubbing their hands together and saying “O you like that, we are just warming up”.
I wonder if they have 300 mil doses in hand or if those were paper doses?

Swine flu test results are unreliable, WHO warns (Sydney Morning Herald)
By Drug Test Expert

SOME Australians may have been falsely diagnosed with human swine flu while others with the disease may have been sent home with a negative result because the laboratory test used to identify the potentially deadly virus is only about 90 per cent accurate.
