I think Obama needs to make a definite decision: To stay in Afghanistan until the desired results are achieved or Get out of Afghanistan. If Obama wants to stay in Afghanistan than, atleast for now, some 50k more US troops needs to be send immediately. And remember don’t expect to get the situation in Afghanistan be normalized in 5 years, this roughly means 7-8 more years from now you’ll witness US troops geting out of Afghanistam. Also if attacks like this continues then Obama will have to send even more troops in the coming years.

Nothing fancy, mind you...
********************************

WASHINGTON - There was no trip to New York and no fancy outing as the Obamas celebrated their first wedding anniversary since they moved to the White House.

Instead they kept it simple, with a dinner out Saturday night at an elegant, American-fare restaurant near Georgetown. The evening was balmy and the moon almost full.

President Barack Obama stayed in all day before taking a motorcade with Michelle Obama to the Blue Duck Tavern to mark their 17th wedding anniversary.

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack HUSSEIN Obama,
Americans needlessly die as O helps the enemy from his 'copter.

Great compilation of threads- thanks.

This is a true nightmare. An escalating war, led by a CIC who is not equipped to grasp tactics and strategy and who listens to the advice of appeasers. He’s now changed the ROE’s to be suicide instructions while giving the enemy the rights our own citizens enjoy when arrested.

With this mindset in play- and this man in charge -I think it’s time to bring them home.

Not just for the 8 yrs but on a monthly basis in Iraq. I was just saying that it’s not like there’s casualties because Obama’s the President. I’m sure if McCain was the President there would be casualties as well. Or if Bush had stayed for 3rd ter,. More? Less? Who knows? The issue for me isn’t even so much the casualties as his lack of action.

Actually you are contradicting yourself. The reason we are having MORE casualties recently in Afghanistan is because of two things: 1.) Bozo changed the ROE so American troops can't shoot back. At least 4 troops died as a direct results of those ROE and I would bet they were hampered in this attack as well.

2.)In failing to send in additional troops he is also causing the casualty rates to be higher than they should be.

No one is saying there would be no casualties if we had a different President but we all know that with a decisive President we would have fewer casualties than we are taking now and we would win the war.

You are actually a Bozo apologist trying to appear as a conservative, your contradictory statements pretty much prove that.

Yeah, but we’re in a RAT hole right now. Sometimes I think I’d rather BE in a foxhole. At least then you’d know who you could trust.
NOW, I don’t trust nobody no more.

I agree with your statement to bring them home now, although I never believed I would utter those words. I am very well prepared to take on the terrorists on my terms if they come over and start their crap here. At that point, the government will be an ever greater empty shell as it is now.

What Obammie the Commie is doing is letting enough US soldiers die so that ALL Americans (left and right) demand that we pull out.

That way, HE MAKES THE POPULAR DECISION.

Once again, it is all about the Narcissist-in-Chief.

"More importantly, note how the media covers this. In Iraq whenever troops were killed it was the number one story on the front page. Every news show did these in depth profiles and sob stories designed to whip up resentment and anger at Bush. It worked. Meanwhile, we’re having record casualties in Afghanistan and I haven’t heard one story about anyone killed there this year. No front page profiles. No Katie Couric or Brian Williams sob stories. Letterman was mad as hell about Iraq. He had Obama on and didn’t seem to care that hundreds are dying in Afghanistan. Where’s the media on this? Where are all those anti0war activists who cared so much about the troops? Nowhere."

This is a classic case of communists protecting other communists. The jerks at NPRCBSMSNBCNYTCNNABCNBC and other communist organizations are not going to allow their fellow communist to be exposed or embarrased.

However, these same COMMUNISTS will open fire on anyone who is Conservative or has some other type of pro-American attitude.

That's why countless Americans are turning to talk radio and the internet for their news. As it oozes out of the government and mainstream television, the communist manifesto is being rejected by Americans everywhere.

Which network is keeping track of the body since last November, it escapes me at the moment?

Actually ABC NEWS does, on Sunday mornings, near the end of their This Week show. Will be interesting to see if Stephanopolous mentions these military deaths around 10:50AM ET this morning.
