Thanks, Obama. The missile defense shield in eastern Europe might have persuaded them not to do this.

Israel, Saudi Arabia, US, UK Join Forces As Iran Fires Nuclear Missiles

Shouldn't the title of the article refer to nuclear-capable missles instead?

“Join Forces” my bare rear end. Let’s see the Saudis cough up a few billion to once again remove an unstable regime that threatens their hegemony over the region this time. Otherwise, I say we establish some staging grounds on top of some oil fields and just sort of accidentally start pumping it ourselves.

I’d be wary of the Arabs.

Having the Israelis and the Persians exhaust each other in a war would leave the Saudis as a top dog in the middle east.

..and I know that ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ saying however I don’t trust the arabs PERIOD.

I know that ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ saying

I don't buy that saying one bit. What's going on in Afghanistan & 9-11 should prove that it makes no sense.

You're right, they may not be a friend at all. At best, the enemy of my enemy is my ally. That should be tentatively and conditionally, at that.

Excellent point. This is a flammatory headline; it looks like a “what-if” scenario.

Its an ugly game of chess to he sure. I would never want to be a diplomat. I would have the urge to toss the table and clear the board of all players..metaphorically speaking ;)

Interesting... where is France in this coalition? Germany? I can understand Germany, just getting through elections...

Are the “French” afraid of taking a position because their nation might burn?

This reminds me of the stuff going on before so many other wars in the last century.

If Saudi’s were not involved.

Possible news story of the near future:

Iran launches missiles in attack on Israel but were intercepted over the gulf with Allied missile defense shield. However, the war heads on the missiles fell on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Iran conducts third round of missile tests...
‘Could reach Israel’...

Hopefully, Israel will eliminate Iran from Human History as a Christmas Gift to the Future.

I disagree: as far as I'm concerned, the enemy of my enemy is still my enemy in most cases. Let me add another example: Soviet Russia in WWII.
