It’s Pittsburg-ese for “you guys”, “you all” or (more familiar to you probably) -”y’all”. Also spelled
“yinz”.
Pittsburgh-ese: Ahm goin’ dahntahn ta da Ji niggle for a sammich. Yunz want ta go with me?”
Translation: I’m going downtown to the Giant Eagle (local supermarket), for a sandwich. Do you guys want to go with me?.
