Harriett Miers was never qualified to sit on the Supreme Court. The only reason why Dubya nominated her was to reward her for being loyal to him.

Harriett was an effective corporate lawyer, nothing more.

Dubya should have nominated Janice Rogers Brown if he was seeking a female Justice.

The data in fact was marshaled and published in time enough for the Republican Party to have heeded the real lesson of 2006. This book should have been required reading for anyone preparing to vote in 2008, primaries and general election alike.

There was a time when you would get kicked off of free republic for saying anything negative about Bush. People around only started coming off the Bush worship after the 2006 election. And now many people are seeing the Bush years for what they were. A FAIL.

Actually, she was in charge of picking judges under Bush and did a good job of getting a lot of conservatives on the bench.
