Please tell me how real “democracy” is trumped, at any time, by “decorum”. If citizens, in or out of office, must deny their honest passion ON ANY ISSUE IN ANY VENUE, then those who have placed decorum ahead of respect for our very rational and honest passion will not respect our liberty either.

A number of Democrats, led by Majority Whip James Clyburn (S.C.) and other black lawmakers, were outraged when Wilson yelled out You lie!
Is this about race? Nah, it never works in reverse does it?

Wilson and Republicans need to counter with resolutions condemning the words of Van Jones and the actions of ACORN.

Joe is my congressman, and the local news Monday night was showing protesters from MoveOn outside his office. They did say that the protesters were from the national organization. The protesters were on the sidewalk in front of Joe’s office, and there was a policeman in the parking lot behind them. It looked like there were maybe 20 protesters. There’s video at the link.

Rep. James Clyburn and other black lawmakers are pressuring Pelosi to sanction Wilson for his two word statement. Wilson has apologized to the President. He's done. I wonder if Clyburn will apologize to his constituents and other Americans that he insulted with these statements....from
James Clyburn Plays the Race Card Over Town Hall Protesters
The third-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives on Thursday compared the disruptive protesters at recent health care town halls to people who unleashed dogs and spat on civil rights demonstrators during the 1960s.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Rep. James Clyburn, (D-S.C.), said that there was "absolutely" an analogy to be drawn between the horrid experience that he went through as a civil rights leader and the boisterous conservatives who have disrupted health care forums.
"I have seen this kind of hate before. I have seen this discussion before," he said. "I have seen snarling dogs going after people who were trying to peacefully assemble. I have seen the eyes of people who were being spat upon."
"This is all about activity trying to deny the establishment of a civil right. And I do believe that health care for all is -- a civil right," the House Majority Whip argued. "And I think that is why you see this kind of activity. This is an attempt on the part of some to deny the establishment of a civil right."

Nah, auction it like Rush did and give the money to charity.

Talk about being petty. Wilson apologized to Obama, and his apology was accepted. He has publicly admitted he was wrong. Yet the Democrats have to push this the last mile in the misbegotten belief that it will make them look what? More civil? More in line with the rules? Less partaisan? They are delusional if they really think that’s the case.
