There were some Obamabots at the last Tea Party I attended.

It was amazing how poorly informed they were. I took on about 5 of them, at the same time. Yes, they tried the Alinsky method of attacking the messenger, but I did not care.

“World Health Organization says American Health care sucks”

Answer:

“WHO is a UN Socialist/Tyrant run operation. It does not make any allowance for the mortality rates of those who die in combat. Remove the combat deaths and American mortality looks pretty good. Also, WHO makes no allowance for the new borns that America tries to SAVE! In other countries, these babies are often listed as STILL BORN and never show up in the statistics!”

Answer of the Obamabots:

“That is just YOUR opinion!”

Me:

“No, those are the facts”

Gosh, you could see their faces drop. They really want America to suck. Because, of course, if America sucks, it is not their fault that they are failures. They do not have to take any responsibility if the system sucks.

I take away from all of this the feeling that we do have a GREAT advantage:

The MSM has protected Obama and the Marxists in Congress from some very disturbing information.

If we can get some courageous Republicans to cut TV ads laying out the facts, in all of these debates, we will:

1.) Get the Dem leadership and the MSM “off message” trying to discredit what they can not discredit.

2.) Win over even more of the public, those who do not listen to Limbaugh or watch Fox or read FR!

The only reason dems gain and hold power is because the dbm continuously, shamelessly, 27/7, lie, cheat, obfuscate, and otherwise hide the true position. very few that sees what is actually going on remains a dem, excepting true left wingers bent on actual dismantling this country.

Bingo ‘not quiet and timid.’ 0 is seeing that Chicago thug politics doesn’t work on a national level. He has awakened and energized the silent majority. 0’s ‘strongly approve’ rating, according to my reading of Rasmussen, is steady around 30%. I’d guess this is 95% of the lunatic left plus 98% of certain minority groups - broken down along purely racial lines. Very scary times indeed, if you’re one of the timid sheeple.

TARP bailout - $500 billion

Stimulus bailout - $787 billion

Automobile industry bailout - $30 billion

Throwing the bums out in 2010 & 2012 - priceless!

Yes, I agree.
At least one of the 5 people I took on, with my health care “debate” was a true Marxist.
That particular person used the old strategy of:

1.)Deny that rationing will happen. (Deny the truth)

and, when that does not work

2.)Switch, shamelessly, to the argument that “death is a natural part of life and we should not fight it so hard” -— in other words, now defend what you previously said was not happening.

Reminds me a bit of the abortion debates. Many, many leftists used to deny that late term abortions took place, or that babies were sometimes born alive, after an abortion attempt.

Then, these same people (like Obama) tell us that it would be wrong to keep those babies alive!

1.) Claim that the right is wrong on the facts.
2.) When step one does not work, claim that the facts justify what the left wants, and that those things that they claim would never happen are, actually, GOOD for us!

expensive, dysfunctional health system

One thing the American people seem to agree on is that we cannot fix any problems with our health care system by means of our expensive, dysfunctional government.

Why is it that the only one questioning the fact that Obama has former and current communists in positions of power within the Executive branch is Glen Beck. Why aren’t so-called “respected” main stream journalists like Broder, and others, even discussing it?

For too long, conservatives just went about their business, keeping their nose to themselves. It is a conservative principle.

However, it is seen, and used, as a weakness, by lib politicians, and their useful idiots, to blatantly lie and misrepresent to the sheeple, cloaked in a jacket of "service" for "the children, the downtrodden" yada yada.

People who could give a shit how long one lives, how healthy one lives, and how much freedom and liberty one enjoys, they give lip service for the vote, only the vote, by any means, because their ultimate goal is nothing for the people, it is simply, and nakedly, about control.

It is time every conservative took the time daily, to engage in conversation with others, and hit them, hit them hard with the truth, reletnessly, disarm them with facts, and persuade them to open their eyes and no longer accept the pablum as "the way it is."

"Meantime, an implacable and opportunistic Republican opposition savors the prospect of victories in off-year gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia".

The first shots of the Second American Revolution.

WHEN the GOP takes these state houses, "blue dogs" everywhere will start running scared.

Folks, the dim party is going to split. It's going to split BIG.

The progressives, led by the Pelosi/Obama cabal aren't smart enough to back off. However, dims from conservative districts...and Senators in states that even McCain won...ARE smart enough to just say no.

This split is not very public right now...but wait until the stupid-assed progressives put their bills on the floor. All hell will break loose in the dim party.

"Mark my words, President Obama is setting the US up to either create a civil war"

Yes, you are correct, of course.

However, what we are witnessing is the lead-up to the greatest political and military miscalculation in modern history. Right up there with Pearl Harbor.

At a very great cost and the most severe of times.

Obama’s “historic election victory” was in the electoral college. He won only 28 states, getting only 52% of the popular vote. Without ACORN, he’d have pulled about 12%.

David doesn’t get it. The “sickening economic slide” was CREATED to get Obama INTO office.

So he has a raft of crap to deal with. So what. He helped create it.

Ishouldn’t have said 12%. He would have drawn more than that — but not remotely enough to win.

His “...patient, didactic responses...” to criticism have flopped repeatedly from trying to charm to trying to intimidate. Communication is his only skill, and those two modes of communication are the only ones he uses. Neither seems to be helping him govern....

I badly misjudged the broad public reaction to the angry August congressional town meetings. Instead of provoking a pro-Obama backlash

That's because Broder's elitist leaning has prevented him from seeing that what the "right-wing" has been saying is not coming from the tobacco chewing, pickup driving, Deliverance-loving caricature that he thinks the blogosphere is full of.

It's actually NORMAL PEOPLE who have been objecting to the left for the last many years. And there's lots of them. They are not shutting up and taking it like they used to because they had to go to work. They are willing to act more now because they are not just tired of lies...they are ready for them to end now. And Broder never knew these normal people really existed.

He's got a stuck-in-the-Beltway viewpoint. That's why he's not a real journalist but a lousy knock-off.

David Broder and Olympia Snowe are contending for the title of the most far left seat in a room of RINO's.

Any projection on which one will win? ...and by "winning", will they be re-elected?

(And Obama’s patient, didactic responses have not quieted the reaction, let alone built fresh support for a vitally needed overhaul of our expensive, dysfunctional health system.)

And that’s the “conservative” at the NY Times. Enough said.
