Greetings all, time for the Saturday Sortie. A quickie post tonight as I get to go to my daughters house for a chicken dinner, yeaa:-)

Some more pictures from last weeks Airshow here in KC so we will get right on to the pics.

There is a U.S. Army Reserve unit based at the New Century Airport in Gardner, KS that flies the CH-47 Chinook. They performed a Flag Flyby for the crowd after the Golden Knights opening jumps. The Chinook made a pass down the runway from north to south...

Then they made a pass from south to north, but they were not done yet, oh no!!! They made another pass from north to south again, only this time they were flying sideways and then they did the south to north pass sideways as well.

Bill Ressman was there in the Red Bull MiG-17, Bill has more time in a MiG than any other US pilot, a rather interesting distinction for the retired U.S.A.F. pilot :-) I was able to catch the MiG-17 as it took off with the Lima Lima team aircraft in the foreground.

The U.S. Air Force Reserve jet car was at the show, after making a few test runs...

The Jet Car "raced" the Red Bull MiG, I think the MiG won:-)

Jacquie B Warda was also at the show in her Pitts Special biplane. I was not able to get any good shots of Jacquie flying but I was able to get a nice shot of her and the Pitts between her flights.
