Where the people are afraid of the government, there is tyranny.

Where the government is afraid of the people, there is liberty.

Boy, I need new glasses. I read one of the first lines as “Thongs, some in workboots...”

Ended up a bit confused.

Zero, his Administration, and the US Congress have declared war upon the American people, IMO.

Let me sum it up for you in 25 words or less:

Get out of our faces and out of our pockets. Mind your own business, pay your own bills, and leave us the hell alone.

Is this mob rule, or democracy in action?

What's the difference?

That's why we have a Republic.

On Friday, outside Democratic U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison’s Minneapolis office, debate over health care suddenly turned into a standoff on race. "The real deal is you don’t want black folks to get what you got," yelled the Rev. Jerry McAfee. A crowd of white picketers circled the preacher. "You’re the racist," a woman yelled. The fracas only ended when a police car arrived, lights flashing.

Mister Reverend, truth to power, the GOVERNMENT doesn't want the citizenry to get what only the elected politicians will have. THEY are exempting themselves from this program within the legislation. JUST ASK YOURSELF, WHY?

And don't play the race card. It expired on such matters a long time ago.

I’m starting to get the feeling that the Democrats are in an abject panic because...

They have lost the old people.

Old people vote a lot and there are a lot of them. In twenty years there will be twice as many people over 65 as there are today.

Think about that demographic.

“What do you mean I don’t get a knee replacement? I’m only 75. I gotta golf everyday. I’m starting to slice a lot!”

That is why the Statists are trying to browbeat the public into silence again. “Answer our online polls and begone!”.

Fear and fury: What’s behind town hall tensions?

Perhaps it is not the Townhall crowds that are manufactured, but the Health Care Crisis that is manufactured....

The arguments against this plan are the same arguments against ALL socialized medicine and the advocates have no response.

Joycelyn Elders said that the older segment of society was “just gonna die anyway” and that those younger people needed to be healthy because they would be the ones paying for the current rounds of social security. She was fired shortly afterwards although the generally reported cover story was she was too blunt about advocating the sex positive agenda of nurturing kids to experiment and masturbate.

If the public opens their eyes to the deceit in the argument for nationalizing healthcare, maybe they will also wise up to the con that is going on with “carbon offset credits” and “green” policies designed to cripple our economy. The rest of the world isn’t going down that primrose lane.

It only turned into a stand off about race when someone that lacks the points to debate the Government take over of health care factually, used race to change the issue.

What's behind the tension? The mainstream media. You cannot ignore 50% of the American people or pretend they don't exist while writing nothing but glowing articles about Obama. The media has plotted to hide 1/2 of America from the other half. They present 1/2 truths on news programs and in our local papers. A half truth is a lie.

The crowd erupted in applause when one man decried health care mandates as "socialistic" and "un-American."

The plan stinks. Seniors especially, know it. The plan covers up the fact that ILLEGAL ALIENS will be covered. ABORTIONS will be allowed and paid for because they are NOT forbidden. The US will go BANKRUPT paying for it in the out years. The elderly will be encouraged to die. No one can opt out. The government has poorly adminstered the corruption in Medicare, and now they want to do a national plan.

Today I attempted to attend a town hall meeting on health care by Congressman Grijalva (az). It was held in a room capable of handling 100 people. I arrived one hour before and while in line one person was handing out THANK YOU signs to individuals. Then I noticed this same person was picking these people out of line and leading them to a separate sign in table. When I finally arrived at the sign in desk, the room was full stacked with more supporters then against. His aids tried to tell people it was first come basis until three of us informed him we watched as a number of individuals with these signs pulled out of our long line.
I talked with a of Hispanic individuals supporting this bill and discovered they knew nothing about the contents contain in the bill. When a number of us explained what was actually in the bill became a little upset. The Democrats are trying to conned the public about this bill.

The Boston Herald is somewhat like the New York Post.

Its the “right wing” tabloid over there.

This statement is what they are fostering....”The real deal is you don’t want black folks to get what you got,” They have convinced the black population that health care is free. The person that made the above statement forgets that people pay for their health insurance. What they want is for everyone else to pay for theirs.
