Yes, I think that’s the main problem for Obummer. More citizens have read the health bill than those in congress, making it lots harder to get away with lies about the bill. When the President or congresscritter starts with the spinning, no one trusts them any more.

One of the bigger differences between Obama and every other president is how much Obama feels the need to be “in front” of the people.

Other presidents have gone their entire terms, sometimes two terms, without having as many press conferences or televised speeches made as Obama has had in 6 months.

I look at Obama as a cult leader needing to continually reinforce his insane message lest his followers come to their senses.

Lying about policies is not a smart move. He appears to be an intelligent man, but apparently is not able to understand that anyone's opinion other than his own, just might have some merit.

He has also surrounded himself with people that totally agree with him. He has no idea how the masses are thinking, or does he. Why lie about your policies, if you think everyone will like them.

I think the end-of-life counseling provision, which he denies, but we can all see in the house bill is the death knell of this bill and his future presidential aspirations.

Whenever, I speak with anyone who may favor the bill, I just say "Well, I am 3 years from mandatory end-of-life counceling". That is an eye-opener for even the liberals.

I think it is more than just the health care issue. As more people become aware of it they seem curious enough to look at some of his other “policies”. His constant ranting about racial matters is one for sure. Another is his desire to appoint un challenged Czars’, one more lefty then the next. Once this onion began to have the skin pealed back, no one seems happy at what they are finding.

Voters go by what I call the Roach notion, if you see one, there are more. That used to be ascribed to fed rate changes but I think it goes beyond that.
