He could very well be eligible. Especially since it seems unlikely his father is named Obama.

Failed = Any person who gave Obama a oath to take office who didn't ensure he was a natural born citizen. Aka, Judge Roberts.

Last fall, American voters were given a choice of two major candidates for the presidency John McCain and Barack Obama.Or, as Lewis Black describes them: "Two buckets of sh**."

Prove it.

NO, a veteran, war hero, and senator with many years of experience versus a nonentity.

the ironies of obama are so rich and numerous as to make one begin to really question what sort of individual accrues such a legacy of things not adding up.
To: pissant
In fact, if his fathers name isn't Obama, then that makes "Obama" ineligible anyways, because he LIED about who he is. He defrauded the public, misrepresented himself, forged a name, took an oath under an assumed illegal name.
He should be dragged out by the scruff of his neck.

I feel I’m way past just the B.C. Any credentials from this guy anywhere? Any? Then to be called names for asking when he was running...Liberal-progressives make me ill most every day.

When someone says “it seems unlikely” it is not a statement of fact. There is no proving “seems like”. It is an opinion. I happen to agree with that opinion. And if I clould prove it, I would become quite famous.

There’s a slight factual error here. John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone, at a time when that was a US possession. He wasn’t born somewhere else in the country of Panama. So he was born on American soil, though not in a state.
To: downtownconservative
Um, he said, "could very well".
And I said, prove it.
I don't agree that Obama, or whatever his name is, should be sitting in the white house without proof of who he is available for all to see.
Anyone can be president now. All they need is a forged COLB document from any state, and a person saying yep, that document is official.
I just can't wait to see our next president. Hope he at least speaks better english than AwwhNolt.

Maybe his name will be Bono

okay, a RINO. If it’s a RINO versus a Communist, I’ll take the RINO.

He claimed to have been born in Honolulu and provided to select news organizations and an outfit called FactCheck.org, associated with a former Obama employer, the Annenberg Foundation, a copy of what he claimed was a Hawaiian "certification of live birth,"... The provinence issue has been lost in the whole argument.
Can anyone say that they have actually seen this "copy" that he provided? To the best of our knowledge, the only "copy" that has circulated is the scanned .jpg first published on Daily KOS, then Factcheck.org, and finally on Obama's campaign website.
Scanned copies are hardly proof, expecially when the chain-of-custody is so backwards. It would be a start if they could just produce the paper copy from which the scan was made.
To: pissant
Sure. His biological father *could* be a US citizen and that may be why he doesn’t sweat the eligibility issue.
But what is on that BC might be so embarrassing or damning that he will go to any length to prevent its release.
