Liberalism is about power and control.
It is NOT about helping the poor, the downtrodden, the fatherless or widows.
William and the tomcat and the rest want control over your life. If you only have beans to eat they want it from them so they can feel good about saving you from starving. Just think where you would be without them.
It's Satan's plan.
Think Warsaw. Herd the undesirables into concentrated areas where they can be controlled and disposed of.
I used to think that 1984 might be possible in 2030 or so, now I think 2010 isn't so far-fetched.
I say, NOT ONE MORE BILL PASSED IN CONGRESS. PERIOD.
This bill basically federalizes the entire farming and ranching industry. It makes every producer pay the feds another $500. It gives the FDA the authority to seize and quarantine entire areas. The Soviet Union did this. If a small population refused to go along with Communism the communists simply quarantined the area and economically starved them into submission.
That 10th amendment issue had best get some real teeth real fast as this bill stomps what is left of States and personal rights regarding food.
This bill even allows the government to take your food. Read the bill, it will scare the sh*t out of you.
This is purely speculative at this point,
but is anyone aware of a correlation between food producing states and party affiliation?
After a brief scan of the reps voting Nay, it appeared that they represent those states which produce the most food and are dominantly republican.... i.e. didn’t vote Obama.
I’m on the outskirs of a village and it’s kinda countryish. I wanted to move to someplace where we could be a little independent. We have a Jotul stove which I’ve never used and an old Ben Franklin stove we use for decoration only, but at least they’re there. I was thinking about seeds that my son could get for his acreage. He has an apple orchard too that’s not being harvested anymore. I bought a lot of stuff for Y2K and I’m not sure my husband will see the need for this. We still have batteries and tomato soup from the last time, LOL.
You need a pressure canner. Wide mouth jars work best. I buy boneless, skinless chicken breast when I find it on sale. You can cut it into pieces or leave whole. Pack firmly in the jars. Add 1 teaspoon salt per quart jar. Do not add liquid. Adjust caps. Process pints 65 minutes, quarts 75 minutes at 10 lbs. pressure. The first time I tried this I was too chicken (pardon the pun) to sample the canned chicken for a long time, I was afraid it would be nasty. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. I like to put mine in pint jars. One time I canned a whole bunch in little 4 ounce jars. They are the perfect size to put in my husband’s lunchbox. What’s really nice about having a supply of canned chicken around the house is that you can whip up a pot of chicken and dumplings in no time. I got my directions out of a Ball Blue Book canning book. I have not seen one of these in a long time, but, if you can get one there are lots of good instructions in there. Kerr makes a good canning book too. They are both paperback. Good Luck!!
read and forward tonight BTTT!
So you don’t put any liquid? Just the chicken and salt and then pressure can it? Wow. Thanks for telling me about this!
Thanks for the details of this bill. My guess is 99% of Americans have no idea this particular monstrosity has passed the House of Reps.
Thanks for this thread all.
As long as you and yours won’t go hungry, and buy up some vitamins as another FReeper suggested.
I never thought we’d get to this time in our lives, but here it is and I intend on being one of those of us left standing to make things right again.
God Bless us all
And that exclusion for farms??? Gone! And that includes you organic idiots who thought you had kissed enough behinds to have your industry excluded. The newly revised bill that appeared overnight after the original was defeated 29th of July, now includes all those farms we were told would not be affected by this legislation.
Whoops, thanks ApplegateRanch.
Thanks for the ping.
bttt
.
Yes, I pray I’ll be standing too but if these are truly the end times, who knows what will happen to any of us. We can only run so far. Well, it’s sure not in my hands.
The Farm-to-Consumer legal defense fund website seems to break it down in a simple form.
