Hawaii's health director's statement "Barrack [sic] Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen".

So what is the next step and how does did affect the lawsuits on Mr. Obama's eligibility for his office?

I am not a lawyer but I would think an acceptable solution would be for this individual to give an acceptable copy (that would meet the requirement for passport, social security, etc.) To the attorneys (possibly with a signed, witnessed statement) for submission to the courts involved in these cases. That should make all of the lawsuites go ago, If they are not willing to do this, then, it would seem to be just another Kabuki dance.

Filing a birth certificate issued by a foreign government for a child born to 2 US citizens abroad is does not confer upon a state the right to use that information as proof of US citizenship. It needs certification by the federal government.
Back in the early 70s, my daughter was born in Viet Nan. I am a natural-born citizen and my daughter’s mother is a naturalized citizen. When we tried to file her VN birth certificate with the State of New York, they accepted a copy and told us that all they could ever issue in the future was a certificate of birth data that mimics the information on the original foreign document, but it could not be used for obtaining a US passport. The clerk said that we should go get a citizenship certificate from the federal immigration authorities (INS). With this advice, we did that also. The INS officers issued a certificate of citizenship with a serial number beginning with “AA” (double “A”), my wife has a certificate of citizenship with a serial number beginning with a single “A”. The immigration officer told us that naturalized citizens get an “A” certificate and natural-born citizens (both parents citizens) get an “AA” certificate. That was 1972.
Does Barry have a certificate of citizenship? Does it have “A” or “AA” on it?

I think Obama is a natural born citizen.

So why doesn't he just give the OK release all the records and end all this silliness?

I mean it's an easy thing to do right? Right?

Then all this controversy would end and we can get back to discussing important things like how best to ruin the economy and destroy the military and increase totalitarianism throughout the world.
