He should run against Obama as a Democrat.

Nah, he can’t even lead himself to the Republican Party.

In 1996 I might even have voted for him, especially when compared with Bob Dole. These days he is not even a RINO, let alone a Republican.

His shameful treatment McCain during the last election is proof of that. McCain was supposedly exactly the kind of Republican candidate that Powell wanted. He was a personal ‘friend’ to boot. However, Powell very publicly endorsed Obama, at the exact moment where such endorsement would do the most damage to McCain.

In other words race trumped country, friendship, and party. We won't forget and we don't want him. Period.

He's got to be kidding.

Don’t discount this out of hand. I am sure he would give Obama a run for his money in the Democratic primary.

He's got to be kidding.

That would be a Pyrrhic victory, indeed. It would be hard to tell where the one racist socialist left off and the next one picked up.

Why not cut out the middleman and give the False Messiah the nomination of both parties ?

He's got to be kidding.

And, probably, a Democrat.

Commissar B.O. will probably pick (Mai Lai) Powell as his running mate after he dumps the Gaffe (Joe Biden)!

Powell had a chance to run in 96, where he could have easily won the nomination and also the Presidential election.

But he chickened out, so when it comes to running for high office Powell is a coward.

As for running in 2012, even Powell does’nt think he has any chance after he endorsed Obama. Who is Powell going to run at, against himself?

These kind of articles prove why journalists are finding themselves increasingly unemployed as the msm media slumps.
