I suspect this is the case, Ghana doesn’t want the repression that Obama fostered on the East Africa Side of the Continent.

Yes, I remember, thanks to Free Republic.

"Under President Bush, Africa has got more from U.S. foreign policy than
any previous American presidency," Ghanaian Foreign Minister Akwasi
Osei-Adjei told Reuters in an interview before Bush's arrival.

Bush of Africa

"......Mr. Bush hasn't gotten much credit for this among the American public,
but, as a BBC interviewer noted yesterday, his approval rating in Africa is
in the 80% range, which is astonishingly high....."

Maybe the second black American president isn’t that big of a deal to them.

Clinton was the first 'black' white President they had seen.

Obama is just a 'white' black person, and they have seen plenty of those.

The answer is that in Africa it can safely be said they've seen black politicians and they know what they're generally about.

No one would rationally expect a big crowd for Obama anywhere in Africa.

You answered your own question. NO man is a prophet among his own people.. and these Africans ARE Barry’s people
