Is there an alternative for healthcare professionals now other than the AMA?

Currently, individual specialty societies are the only other advocacy organizations for physicians (e.g. the AAFP for family practice, ACOG for OB-GYN, AAOS for Orthopedic Surgeons, ). The AHA represents hospitals.

From that article, “The government, to repeat Thomas Sowell’s observation, can reduce the amount Americans spend on health care in only two ways: Either the government must provide health care more efficiently than the private sector does or it must ration health care.

The first is impossible.

The second?

Unthinkable.”

Unthinkable - well Americans better be thinking about healthcare rationing because THAT is what OCARE Promises!

That’s why they were trying to ram it through while everyone was on Summer vacation. They still will try to ram it through with little debate. They don’t want to give the People time to become aware of the issue and have time to think about it.
