We just got finished with an election in which well over half of Americans think she was a drag on the ticket as a VP candidate.

Mitt is not electable. He just isn’t. He has the wrong kind of charisma. He doesn’t do well in the south. He could have practically wrote Obama Care. He us too slick and he is a Mormon. Sorry, he may be a good man but he is not electable.

It’s complete silliness to think that a party as serious and pragmatic as the Republican party would nominate Ford, Dole, Goldwater, or McCain for president. I hope they will come to their senses and get behind Sarah.

I have no doubt they will be moving to the lower 48.

I would be shocked if that happened. I believe she is sincere in her love of Alaska and her desire to protect her family. And there is nowhere she can protect them better than in Wasilla, surrounded by relatives and friends. If she does reenter national politics down the road she will need that refuge to return to.

And it must be miserable for New York / Washington press to have to travel there and cover her. That alone makes staying worth it.

Romney is evil incarnate. Romney threw Election2008 because he is a SORE LOSER and a liberal Democrat shapeshifter to begin with.

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign? (Mark Wallace, Romney pimp)
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Poor sport spoiler Romney doing what he does best:

Novak: "Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign"

Said Novak: "The rumors were traced in part to Mitt Romney's campaign,
trying to stir up strife between McCain and Thompson
."

"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Mitt Romney, Carpetbagger UT,CA,MA,NH,Mexico) lost Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges."

Mitt is for snobs.

Palin is for people who value integrity over pre-packaged schlock.

You mock her rhetoric and her inflections, and say that she incoherent.

I (and many, many more like me) understand her perfectly well and endorse her completely.

Take your condescension elsewhere, Mittfan.

Did anyone notice a quick clause in the middle of her speech in which she turned over the Governorship to Parnell, she stated she’d be availabe [in any way] to help Parnell push Alaska’s initiatives and agenda forward.

Could there be some sort of special appointment of Sarah at a later date? Maybe some sort of unpaid special Alaska Envoy position created just for her???

That would allow her to travel outside the state, do all of the things one needs to do to campaign for other GOPers, prep for a presidential run and still be close to the successes of future Parnell legislations.......

No pretentions. She refused to spend any more of Alaska citizens money on frivalous charges by haters.

I pray for her protection from those in her own party and democrats.

Her speech today exuded true, authentic love for America. NO POLITICIAN since Reagan has, or can, speak like this grand lady and mean it.

Meanwhile, your man sits in a Virginia pizza parlor with Jeb Bush and Eric Cantor, imploring us to 'forget about Reagan'.
Sarah Palin not only will not forget about Reagan she will continually remind us all of what Reagan stood for and how our country greatly benefited from his two terms as President and most importantly why his vision is just as much needed today as it was in 1980.

If, when, Sarah Palin runs the GOP primaries will be but a formality. The nomination will be hers, hands down.

It’s complete silliness to think that a party as serious and pragmatic as the Republican party would nominate her

Then please explain Bob Dole and John McCain as serious and pragmatic selections, or the party's animus to Reagan before his selection in 1980, and general animus to the Reagan spirit now. They are happy pushing moderate losers and quite uncomfortable with conservative winners.

Are we to accept in an aspirant to the Oval Office cutting short her tour of duty in the Alaska statehouse?

Better that than one who use his stay in the Massachusetts statehouse to impose socialized healthcare.

Uh, have you ever seen this? I think you should read it and remember it. We know what the Romney cutthroats did to Sara under the cloak of McCain’s campaign.

Unlike Romney’s “National Council for a New America,” Free Republic is a conservative site!

I’m not a member of the Mitt/McCain party. Mitt gets the nomination and it will be a repeat of the McCain mess.
