Interesting.
Alas, it’s preaching to the choir.
BTTT!
Very interesting and quite incriminating!

I didn’t see it described in this article, but to me one of the most telling things is when in Dreams Obama talks of how the tides flow both north and south in the Hudson River and Ayers talks about that exact same thing. I mean, how many people even know about that, much less would comment on it in their book? Ayers was a merchant sailor so it stands to reason he would know about it. How would Obama know about it? Any New Yorkers out there? Is this common knowledge about the Hudson river?
Interesting.
To play the devil’s advocate, though: How unlikely is it that two people in Chicago would be familiar with the more popular writing of Chicago’s most-famous poet, Carl Sandburg, and the almost universally-known expression “hog butcher to the world?”
Citing the use of this expression by both men is even thinner than thin.
A week before that, I heard from another excellent contributor, Mr. Midwest. Their collective contribution should dispel the doubts of all but the willfully blind that Ayers played a substantial role, likely the primary role, in the writing of Dreams.
Hopefully neither of these people work for African Press International.
An easy way to produce better results than by-hand analysis would be to run the Zero’s book against the text of the Ayers book using a plagiarism detection application like college professors use.
Good article, but I fear this unmasking is several years too late.
OUTSTANDING post! Thanks for the ping. Thanks to Jack Cashill, Mr. West and Mr. Midwest.
