That is disturbing.
Can you imagine having a sixteen year old son who’s a sodomite?
Thank Goodness for this Church and its members.

What’s so disturbing about it, especially when compared with gay sodomy?

'We believe a man should be with a woman and a woman should be with a man,' the Reverend Patricia McKinney said. That's the sort of talk that could land one in big trouble over on the other side of the pond.

The media is making this into a hate crime against the child who has the right to any orientation he wants.

In many states “gay sodomy” is protected by the law of that perverted land.

Did it work?We will never get to know that. Gays will be up in arms, and religious people will be ridiculed. And that will prevent anything else from being said.
Not having looked at the video, but being suspicious of everything, bordering on paranoia, I wonder if it's not something from a movie, or if it isn't something totally made up. The whole thing about convulsing, that requires the exorcisee to be participating, because I am totally sceptical about the whole exorcism thing. It is like hypnosis or suggestion, and only the stupid believe in such things as exorcism and demonic possession.

I’d pay money to watch a video of the homosexual demon Barney Frank being cast out of our Congress!

The homosexuality is far than the words.
You can’t get AIDS from words.

The big question: Did the kid ask for this? If so, then what’s the problem?
To: Steelfish
Disturbing? Hell yes! Who wants to be in a room with a gay demon? (Well I guess that list is long sadly)

It is like hypnosis or suggestion, and only the stupid believe in such things as exorcism and demonic possession. Interesting that you refer to Jesus Christ as "stupid."
Matthew 8:28-34: When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. "What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?"
Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. The demons begged Jesus, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs."
He said to them, "Go!" So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

What's disturbing was if the kid wasn't possessed by a demon, the church leadership was putting him through what has to be incredible emotional trauma for no reason at all when he could have been helped in a much more safe and constructive way. Also mildly disturbing was if the kid was not possessed, the people who thought they performed a successful exorcism are gonna be in a boatload of trouble if they ever stumble across the real thing. If he was possessed, well, the concept of demon possession still ranks WAY higher on my scale of 'disturbing' than gay sex.
Also, WHERE were the kid's parents? They're not mentioned at all... if they didn't consent to this, that would make it even more disturbing.
