She wasn’t 56 when she died; Roman said in 2016 that she was born in 1963, and had she lived till 2016, she would have been 53:

What an astonishing observation! One of them is living, the other died, one had a child in January, the other in late summer. One had Diplomat relatives in Equatorial Guinea, the other had Lebanese nationality and relatives in Seattle. Do you which is which?

This lady of whom I speak is the lady in the Oxford picture with Mal X and Mr. Abrams, seen in the background speaking with a black gentleman.

She is deceased, and Valerie is still alive; no way they are the same person.

In 2000, at the dawn of the new millennium, Joseph Owili Ongei bought a green Chevrolet LUV KB20 model, chasis number 9583320.

What he did not know, however, was that he had become the new owner of the car that claimed the life of Barack Obama Sr, the father of US President Barack Obama.

“It was one of the many cars put up for disposal by the Treasury,” he says, “And the only reason I got it was that it had been left behind by purchasers. All the others in the yard had been bought except the green pick-up.”

Owili, who then worked for Ministry of Planning as a technician, says he paid Sh175,000 to Jael Atieno Onyango. Owili, who had previous knowledge of Jael before buying the car, says the latter met Obama Snr in the early 1980s at the Treasury, where she, too, worked.

Ownership records showed the car last belonged to Dr Barack H Obama, who bought it from General Motors in 1981.

Obama had been working for the Ministry of Finance when he bought the car, in a scheme that apparently saw senior officials at the ministry identify cars and have them bought by the ministry, after which the individual employees would have their salaries deducted monthly to recover the cash.

Obama Snr died on November 24, 1982 before he could settle the loan. After the fatal accident, the car was towed to the Ministry of Finance’s junk yard.

History mentions Jael Atieno as the mother of George Hussein Onyango, one of President Barack Obama’s half-brothers. In the President Obama’s Dreams From My Father, his half-sister Auma tells him how she had given up on her father, but told him to be a good father to her new born half brother George, whose mother was ‘a young woman he was living with.’

The young woman referred to here is Jael. Since she was the last to have been living with Obama Snr, she was listed as the next of kin to the deceased and ended up inheriting rights to the car and many other properties he left behind.

The pub that played a part in Kenya's and Obama's history

The stale smell of last night's beer hangs in the Kaloleni Public Bar, a down-at-heel tin-roofed tavern sandwiched between a butchery and a panel beater in Nairobi's Eastlands.

In its heyday the insalubrious boozer was a favourite of Kenya's founding politicians and President Barack Obama's father, Barack Obama Senior. It was here that he had his last drink of whisky on November 24, 1982.

Afterwards, he left in his pickup truck, crashed into a tree and died, aged 46.

The proprietor, George Anyim, is a 44-year-old barrel of a man with a cannonball head and a greying goatee beard. He is the third generation of Anyim to run the pub having inherited it, and its stories, in 2003.

"The elite used to drink here, those who had gone abroad to read," said Anyim. In recent decades the pub, like the neighbourhood, has faced "challenges", he said. The neighbourhood has suffered neglect and competition has increased from other pubs including, close by, 'Rescue Bar' and another called 'Nameless'.

"It's not the glory days that it used to be," said Anyim. "The big people are gone."



It has been brought to my attention that this coming Saturday all roads will be leading to kaloleni public bar for a goat eating, for entry you are strictly required to come with your stomach and the first ten will have the pleasure of drinking hot soup mixed with kaloleni public bar chilli. Oye Oye come one come all.

President Obama’s long-lost Uncle Omar was picked up by law enforcement on August 24 while driving drunk in Massachusetts. His blood alcohol level was reportedly nearly twice the state’s legal limit. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving to endanger, and failure to use a turn signal. He was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on an outstanding warrant – Uncle Omar was previously ordered deported to Kenya, but decided to stay in the U.S. anyhow, likely concluding that the United States doesn’t take its own citizenship laws seriously. After all, his sister, Obama’s “Aunti Zeituni”, had also been ordered deported but was living as an illegal immigrant in Boston for years, in public housing no less.

Perhaps the media will start investigating and also inquire about the risk to public safety created by President Obama’s decision to keep drunk-driving illegal aliens like Uncle Omar in the country.
