I believe Jefferson knows more about our freedoms and had more to do with the Constitution than Gingrich.
Crist sounds like Jenny Granholm and her “Its not a tax, its a fee” line.
Political cowards.
I’ll post what I want, as long as the mods allow it...I don’t work for you.
Your tagline doesn't match your views. It's called hypocrisy.
I’ll be coming to Georgia to get my cigarettes, since we live only 25 miles from there.
You think this is good? I know a lot of teens will give up on cigarettes and just stick with marijuana, since it will be cheaper! It's already illegal for them to buy tobacco, so no big deal!!!
Your tax dollars will still increase!
Your compassion for children is noted...
Adults dont smoke. Teenagers smoke and then become adults after its way too late to quit.
And your compassion isn't for children. It's a need to control. Your tagline is still hypocritical.
FACT: 90% of all smokers start under the age of 18.

Smoking in America Pew Research
According to Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), cigarette smoking has decreased substantially since the 1960s.
So you accept the fact that 90% of all smokers start under the age of 18?
In the 1980 report from a tobacco company, teenage smokers were only 20.2%. Analyzes smoking behavior of 14-17 year old group, showing slight declines in smoking incidence and rate per day. The CDC says that smoking has decreased substantially since the 1960s.
So where is your research?
I started when I was born. Three room apartment. Two parents smoking 2 packs of non-filtered cigarettes a day.
Your parents loved you so much. /s
Do you still not understand that the Gov doesn’t want anyone to quit because it is very lucrative to tax?
You’re lucky the smoke nazis didn’t bust down your door, drag your parents outside and execute them against the nearest wall.
My parents smoked too but I was the only one of 5 to take up smoking habitually. 3 of my sisters tried it and one never did.
There were no smoke Nazi's in 1953.
Nor in 64.
Yup, I’m old enough to vaguely remember cigarette commercials on TV. I also remember an anti smoking ad from back then too. It was a kid copying everything his dad did.
I remember the 50’s when people were adults and didn’t need nannies to help them live. I miss it.
