No one person can or should be the future of the GOP! What if, God forbid, she died in an accident? Would the GOP be dead?
I am not a Palin fan but would vote for her (again) over Obama. I don’t think she is well informed or very smart. (”Not very smart” does not mean “stupid”.) It’s too early for conservatives to unite behind any one candidate. They all have a lot to prove.
