Routed? Hardly...
Wow, so Romney, Ron Paul and Alan Keyes aren't the only ones with cult like followers. Hunter is retired now from his 28 years as a congressman and my guess is that even he would not be pleased with your general election vote.
No. I would have voted for any of the GOP candidates that didn’t believe in global warming, Amnesty, and the socialist bailouts. Unfortunately, that opportunity did not happen.
==================================
What you call "Gaffes" I call "speaking the truth causing liberals heads to explode".
Not exactly what Biden is known for.
SLICK WILLARD - SOCIALIST EPIC FAIL.
Duncan Hunter was my congressman and I believe that he would not support your act of not voting in 2008 by writing in his name in the general election.
Duncan Hunter was not a fringe guy, he was a solid republican that had a stable, staid, 28 year career as a conservative congressman in a conservative district, an oddball or egotist he wasn't.
I’m not a republican. I’m a conservative.
I'm not a republican either, I am a conservative.
You seem to have a cult like devotion to my (just retired) republican congressman and I think that he would be disappointed to learn that you threw your vote away in 2008 instead of voting against Obama, and I don't think that he would feel better that you threw it away by writing in his name, Duncan Hunter is not one of those fringees that would pat you on the head for that.
No. No cult like devotion. Just a simple recognition he is the only real conservative on all the issues important to this republic and a true “Peace through Strength” Reaganite.
If Demint, or Pence, or someone similar runs and Hunter does not, I’ll support the most conservative guy.
BTW, I did not throw away a vote. I just don’t vote for liberals anymore, even if they have an R after their name. Like I said, I’m a conservative. I have no reason whatsoever to vote for an idiot like McCain.
I think at this point Duncan will be concerned about his sons political career.
A poor showing could damage his sons chances on the national stage.
I like Sanford and Dimint, but I think Huckabee will cripple either of those. Unless Sarahs
charisma can steal enough Hucksters votes, he splits the conservatives and we get a RINO and I vote 3rd party.
I will go down fighting with a true conservative if I can find one to vote for in the general. I will not vote RINO ever again.
Of course all this is conjecture, there is no guarantee that Obama will even allow elections next time
Well, Michael Reagan thinks differently and I'll take his word on it. Reagan's own son supports Palin, compares her very favorably to his father, and believes she is the one person who can best carry on with the ideals instituted by his father.
Nothing at all against Hunter, he's a fine man and a true conservative. He'd be a welcome addition in a Palin administration.
But, stating that he is the only "real conservative" out there is a blatant misnomer.
You might want to get her to release a statement repudiating her support for McCain’s amnesty plans and global warming before you start comparing her to Hunter.
It is cult like, frankly you just don't seem to know much about the man except as a recent worshiper, Duncan Hunter is not going to rise from the ashes and become a national figure, in his 28 years here he never even became a California figure, and I believe that he would agree that you wasted a vote in the general election against Obama.
Chortle. Evidently so. Thanks, pissant!
Recent worshipper? What nonsense. Hunter has been one of my favorite politicians for 20 years. And when he decided to run for Prez, I was ecstatic, just like I was when Reagan ran.
As for not knowing him. I’ve spent more time talking to him than anyone here, I’d reckon. I set all three FR interviews with him. I’ve researched his record in office more than any other person on the planet.
Trust me. You being his constituent does not make your knowledge of the man come even close to mine.
Well, I’ve known of him for more than 28 years but you still have me beat on detailed knowledge it sounds like, next time you speak to him, look him in the eye and ask him if he wants you to throw your vote away in a devotion to him or if he would want you to vote for the republican primary winner.
... he is also the resident expert of all things Hunter (among other things too):
