The White House just denied Dick Cheney’s request to release the CIA documents, per Fox News. It was breaking on the wires a few mins ago.
And, if you read the USA Today coverage the same anti-Bush boilerplate is STILL being posted!
One track minds!
Well there certainly couldn't be any democrats on it.
You *should* be right. Unfortunately this is going to play out in predictable fashion: The Dems and their lapdogs in the media will spin this as a “right-wing conspiracy to undermine her.” Then the questioning and the answering will gradually die down. Finally, she’ll be off the hook. It disgusts me to think that the third in command so readily tries to pawn off her own BS onto the CIA.
Liar, liar pants on fire.
perhaps the left wants a scapegoat to toss to the citizens......and will dump her.
anyway, pass the popcorn.....
you mean the flip/flopper in chief? he said no? LOL we shall see how this plays out.
Absolutely delicious. This could... at least it SHOULD, bring that traitor down.
Normally, I would agree, but, the MSM has been all over this with a vigor that is contrary to the usual MO with 'rat lies and corruption--telling me a green light has been given. Methinks the WH wants Pelosi out as leader...
At the risk of stating the obvious, I point out that this was during the CLINTON administration, long before President Bush could have been doing any "misleading".
Indeed, looks like it is almost Hoyer Time.
Yup. More popcorn will be eaten before then though. Nancy will not go easily...
Hillary Clinton told a room full of reporters Saddam kicked out weapons inspectors and he was trying to develop a nuclear capability.
SEN. EDWARDS: "Because what happened was the information that we got on the intelligence committee was, was relatively consistent with what I was getting from former Clinton administration officials."
In an interview with Jeffrey Goldberg in the latest issue of The New Yorker, Edwards said: I was convinced that Saddam had chemical and biological weapons and was doing everything in his power to get nuclear weapons. There was some disparity in the information I had about how far along he was in that process. I didnt rely on George Bush for that. And I personally think theres some dishonesty in suggesting that members of the United States Senate relied on George Bush for that information, because I dont think its true. Its great politics. But its not the truth.
"So did I get misled? No. I didnt get misled."
Many Democratic politicians and some from the Republican Party have stated a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency there. - In a recent interview with CBS's "60 Minutes," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi: "The jihadists (are) in Iraq. But that doesn't mean we stay there. They'll stay there as long as we're there."
Islamic Jihad's Saadi, laughing, stated, "There is no chance that the resistance will stop."
