Unlike Romney's "National Council for a New America," Free Republic is a conservative site!
Refer to Romney's Council for a New American Socialist State formed in HIS Image ^

“Is there a list of which GOP candidates to bash and praise respectively? And who makes up that list?”
We bash the liberals here and praise the conservatives.
Read the list that Jim posted at the start of this thread.
It has plenty of liberal pukes for a starting point.
More can be added.

Oh, so Coulter's "star struck" because she doesn't think Romney's satan? really? I would never assume that about Fred's supporters and it's better applied to him, being an actor.
You don't have to defend Fred to me, I was just tossing out arguments against him I've heard people say. I've heard all the comebacks. Like I said, none of them were deal-breakers for me. I would have voted for him without biting my lip. I'm just really stumped by the lack of generosity towards MR. Fred is forgiven everything. Romney's forgiven nothing. Weird.

He and his team re-wrote it. I don't need to research it, I was following it at the time.

You are really jumping around aren't you.
Romney is far from Satan, he just has political proclivities that have not always been of a Conservative nature...
It takes alot of effort to understand that. He looks great on papaer, that is why I had to look so deep into his history. He was almost too good. Why I liked Fred, he had screwed up a couple of times but was honest about it. Also why I have a deep respect for Bush, despite his rather rapid departure from the conservative fold the last few years.
Mitt continues to put on the act, and his supporters have been viscous towards more worthy Conservatives, so yes, there is a lot of bad blood.
And much has nothing to do with the “M” word that is often tossed about, Mormon, but another “M” word, moderate...

You got that right. I have no idea what your point was. I was his guest many moons before you and that has nothing to do with anything I’ve said here.

Look, you don't need to patronize me. I don't care what he looks like "on paper". I think he's a good man. I disagree with his being a "marxist", a "socialist" or any of the other tags being thrown around here.
The day Fred can come out of the same situation Mitt was in and perform the perfect conservative dance, you can compare the two. Till then no one gets a medal.
And I have only seen viciousness and hardcore name-calling coming from the Mitt-haters. I don't get it.

Mitt-haters? ... Oh my, you don't know the difference in someone finding a politician like Mitt 'disgusting' in his duplicity, and hating someone for whatever rationale (except for lying Democrats, I can't see wasting energy hating).
Mitt-Haters? Bwahahahaha, you mittiacs just cannot seem to get past your twisted talking points from the campaign.

So, correct discussion of candidates at FR bashing/praising respectively depending on a list that JimRob will promulgate at various times?
This is problematic, because one doesn't know how a candidate will turn out. For example, Cantor has been discussed here as a possible conservative candidate. But he joined the despicable National Council thing, that prompted this thread.
Is Cantor on the must-bash list? If not now, he might eventually end up on the list, and then the Freeper is blindsided, caught supporting an officially proscribed RINO.

So are you enjoying yourself mocking the founder of this website?
Sure are a lot of newbie trolls with late 2008 sign-ups running around this thread.

No. See below:
"I'll throw in Arlen Specter as a prime example of a Republican we cannot support. Should be obvious to all why not. Should also be just as obvious to all that we cannot support Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, John McCain and his lap dog Lindsay Graham, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, et al."
