I’ve been called three times and struck during voir dire every time. I just got called again, but there’s no longer a form where I can write what I had planned: “You strike me every time. Don’t waste both our times.” Instead, there is a preselection meeting that I’m required to attend. At least it’s in the evening. I’d be perfectly happy to serve, and will say that at the meeting, but I’m still going to point out that I’ve been struck every time in the past.
“I pointed out that I had been a victom of crime, the suspect was released with a wrist slap from the court and if I was on a jury, that would never happen.”
While I liked this guy’s honest approach, I think I may be saving yours for a later point in time. ;) That’s good!
My wife thought it was horrible of me. On the other hand, she has been called into jury duty twice since then.
