"How the heck do you put up with this pompous fascist fathead “Fast Eddie” Rendell? “Philadelphia rules!” is not an answer."

The answer is that Pennsylvania, like the rest of the northeast, has been moving left for years. Not long ago, this state had 1.5 Republican senators and a Republican (sort of) Governor. Heck, even New York had a Republican (sort of) Governor and a Republican Senator. Not any more.

It's a trend.

"They have no moral bedrock to stand on, no core values, no way to know right from wrong."

True, but they keep getting elected, which doesn't say much for the people. God has never stopped people from being sh*theads.

Yeah, that “free will” that God gave us, it’s a problem because many choose to be immoral. They don’t care if they do evil. They have the free will to choose evil as a way of life. We have to live with the consequences for now, but they will endure the consequences of their actions for eternity.

Rendell said there was no “rational reason” to allow the sale of assault weapons. “They are used for only one reason…to kill and maim people,”

Actually he gave two reasons, to kill and maim. If it comes to a situation where I pull the trigger, I only one of these reasons need apply.

So the post is full of what Rendal said, what did the NRA guy say, and was it really a “top official” or some fall guy? A top NRA official would have cleaned this guys clock and made him look the fool.

Rendell said there was no “rational reason” to allow the sale of assault weapons.

Ha. Even the ninth circus seems to believe there is. In a decision today incorporating the 2nd. against the states, the court cited defense against government tyranny. Against that, one would need at least so-called "assault weapons".
