...which reminds me of the cute story from the UK I think regarding Obama's silence for several days on this pirate issue. They searched and searched but could not find any feasible way to blame Bush. All they found was a '94 comment that "the Pirates suck".....

The reason you heard nothing from Obama was for plausible deniability. If it turns out good he claims credit. If it goes bad, he kicks butt. I guarantee, that the Captain of that boat put his career on the line the second he gave the decision to fire. That he was willing to do it shows he was the right man to be in command. Luckily we still have people willing to do what is right despite the consequences. Unfortunately we have that gutless wonder as our president. A lot of good people will be destroyed by him in the next 4 years

What did Barack have to say about this crisis a few days ago? N-O-T-H-I-N-G, that’s what. Some may feel the need to get behind the leader in order to defend the action instead of being accused of defending the enemy. George W. Bush helped put us on that slippery slope, although he was often right to do so. But the truth matters. Perceptions are what Obama and his kind live and breathe for.
