Really pushing the envelope here.
Or maybe not...

when will we finally blow these people out of the water?

An Italian crew.
Wonder how the Italians will handle it?

Why isn’t our President doing anything about this? Why is no one holding him accountable for not addressing this issue. What a weakling.

An Italian crew. Wonder how the Italians will handle it? Hopefully more like the French did.
To: papasmurf
Italian flagged, with an Italian crew—not our problem. Let the owner ask the Italian Navy for help.

From an islamic point of view, this piracy is perfectly acceptable...just as it was in Jefferson's day.
Everything in the world belongs to Allah and Allah doesn't mind if true believers take it away from infidels.
Taking this one step further, if Obama attacks the pirates, he is insulting islam and the Prophet's example.

I find myself reading the British press more and more to find out what’s going on in my own country.
To: papasmurf
You know, I wish they would try to hijack one of those “Most Dangerous Catch” crabbing vessels. I suspect those crews would not surrender their ships so easily.
But seriously, there is no reason for this to have gone on so long.

Interestingly, since they elected him here, the press would be stepping on their own toes if they “dissed” him.

President Urkle still has not recognized that he now has a 24/7/365 job.
This piracy garbage has got to stop, where is Thomas Jefferson when you need him.

I have not read anything about this, but I would guess that it is Italiam merchant marines. Italy has some of the finest, best educated merchant marines that you will find anywhere.
