Hodges said responding lawmen had to shoot two of the dogs to protect themselves; the other two were captured and euthanized.

The owners should have suffered the same punishment as their dogs.

The main reason people get these dogs is to project an image of aggressiveness. That plus a love for ugliness.

Have you ever noticed pit bull owners are usually about as ugly relative to the human population as Pit Bulls are to the canine population? Some kind of psycho "community of the ugly" going on.

In Miami-Dade County, FL they are forbidden. I remember the summer many years ago when there was a sudden surge in Pitbull attacks on children and people. If you are caught with one you will be fined $500.00 per day.

Watson and Smith's four four pit bulls savagely attacked Tanner Monk last May near his home outside Breckenridge.

4 pit bulls allowed to run loose?

Typical comment from family members of folks who go nuts and shoot people too. Who wants to say, “Yeah, I knew the dog was aggressive (Or the person was a time bomb waiting to go off)?” It’s not just pit bull owners. It’s virtually everyone who is afraid they might have some responsibility for something bad that happened.

"They were never aggressive ..."

Yea, right, that's why they had them.
