"Especially if you want to double the number of cars coming at you after jumping the median,or the number of spaced out characters shooting up a mall or beating their spouses or doing all the other nutty things that those freaked out on drugs seem to do, like voting Democratic.

You don't know many pot heads, do you? lol. When they do drive (rarely), they go around 15 in the right lane. And about nobody on pot beats up on anyone, let alone their spouse. Shooting up a mall? lol. Name me one pot head that shot up anything.

Drug laws are confiscatory (you can go look that word up).

Why risk everything I own over getting high? Plus, I am not necessarily crazy about the high that marijuana provides. The people that smoke (and I know a number of them who are very successful) don’t do it all of the time becuase it impairs productivity.

Is it too far of a stretch to see that just because a bag of dope is sitting in front of me I won’t touch it because I have to program a computer? What comes first, my kids and their schooling or toking up? I would rather program a computer than get high, frankly, and it would be impossible to do both.

Give it break. Most of us are responsible adults and we have businesses and households to run. However, whether we smoke or not is not a government issue.

Now, please back up your evidence of lack of success and pot smoking with an r^^2 or two. Until then it is merely conjecture without any empirical standing.

So you really smoke pot a lot and really want to defend that publically. Can you give your full name and so on? It would make sense to actualy verify all your claims.

I know a lot of pot smokers...and they are all liberals.

I know a lot of pot smokers, and they are of all political persuasions. I could name CEO's of medical device companies who partake. I know dog lovers, husbands, mothers, and children, all who vote pubbie who do it. I know engineers, scientists, and even a priest who do it. Non-liberals, all of them.

All potheads claim to be a great businessman online. Funny, never seen it happen offline.

Amen. My friends who were heavy pot smokers in high school never really amounted to much. And yes, the same thing is true of heavy alcohol use. My question is where would legal pot be smoked. You can't do it in bars since second hand smoke is so "lethal".

You’ll see people on here, like a few posts above, claim that they know potheads that are xxx huge sucesses. Well, that’s damn easy to do, even ‘clever’ for your agenda.

The facts don’t add up really, and their claims are just vapor.

If I had a dime for every unemployed pothead that claimed to know the CEO of major companies (which is either a lie or a delusion) I’d not need to worry about money ever.

Sad really, but here they come out of the woodwork.

I haven’t smoked pot in 20 years, as I stated. No criminal record and never been arrested or detained. Here is my information:

Alan Churchill
Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Google my name and read my papers online. You can go to my website and watch my tutorials on programming.

Ahem, and you are a success as well and would be willing to tell everyone who you are, I take it?

Smoking pot IS a religion. Ever hear of Rostafarians(spelling?) in Jamaica. I believe I heard of a court case in the US about freedom of religion brought by a rosta man.

Wait, are you saying pot is ok cause you haven’t done it in 20 years? Or that you could have but didn’t? If you didn’t, why the hell not be a druggie and live it up?

I see you didn’t offer up anything personal despite laying down a gauntlet and getting it right back.

People, successful people, are responsible. I choose not to do it but it isn’t my right to tell someone they can’t.

Please spell out to me, where, in the Constitution it grants government that power?

I laid down some simple challenges namely, provide proof (which you haven’t and just switched to ad hominum). You asked me for my information so you could call the cops and have them be-bop over to my house (which I did). Call them. What are you waiting for?

I live in the Broadmoor area (look it up online).

I’m actually weirded out by your presentations. You are not claiming to be commiting a crime, and you did all this in defense of illegal drugs.

Why?

You’re off on some tangent now. I asked, if it’s so good and harmless, why are you NOT using it all the time?

What part of freedom eludes you? Should be outlaw hamburgers becuase people get fat?

Read the Federalist Papers and understand why this country was founded. Better yet, read the Constitution and pay particular attention to Amendments 9 & 10.

You are sounding more and more like a teenager posing on the web. If so, let me proffer some advice. Read the Constition, then study it, then read it some more.

A simple quote:

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

So you certainly agree with legalizing plutonium, crack, heroin at the local 7-11 right? Do the people really approve of this?

BTW, I’m a Republican Conservative, and not a ‘anything goes’ anarchist libertarian as you are.

You need to realize that your ideals don’t work anymore than marxism-leninism works.

Most all drugs will eventually be legalized or at least decriminalized....the only question will be how many more people have to die first because of the insane and utterly failed WOD.
