During the last election we donated to the Toomey campaign. Even though we are from Texas we thought that it was important enough to the entire country to get rid of Arlen Specter. We were extremely disgusted with the Bush administration and the RNC and their decision to support Specter. That is why we have not contributed one red cent to the Republican Party since then. We still support individual campaigns, but I don't trust the RNC.

Magic Bullet Specter forgets what all those in Versailles on the Potomac do, namely: they represent US, not we obey their commands.
If the overwhelming constituents - heck, even a majority - are against the bailouts, he is REQUIRED to obey our dictates. What his personal feelings are, have no place in the equation.

We still support individual campaigns, but I don't trust the RNC. Good for you! I agree, why should any one trust the RNC at this point?!
