Keep yer powder dry, y'all...
Throw up the spotlight, draw up the curtains. It's time for the big shoe.
Hot Dog! Looks like we kin start moonshinin’ agin. Them revinoors all be busy chasin mexikins!
You are right. This has nothing to do with defending our border, or law and order. It has everything to do with the confiscation of firearms. It is another example of one of Rahm Emanuel’s crisis opportunities that can’t be allowed to go to waste. They are using it as an excuse to do what they intended to do all along. If they were serious about securing the border and border communities, they would send tens of thousands of more personnel whose specific mission is to stop illegal entry and drug smuggling, such as Border Patrol and DEA agents, these officers would be stationed at the border, at border crossings, along the border fence line and especially at all those locations where the border fence ends; ATF’s mission is a different thing entirely, that is, the domestic control of liquor, tobacco and weapons. This response only makes sense if you are a raving loony unconcerned with violence spilling over our borders, but very concerned with anyone owning a gun in order to protect themselves. We are securing Mexico’s border for Mexico, not the U.S. border for Americans, and we are “protecting” Mexico from guns.
At least if they are on the border, they aren’t stomping kittens and jacking up pregnant women in the rest of the country.
NOW the Mexican drug runners/terrorists will surely turn tail and run, rather than face the tanks, helecopter gunships, flame-throwers, and snipers of the BATF, as were deployed at WACO, resulting in 100% kill rates of the target population.
Getting busy on the gun grab now.
The same bunch they sent to Waco?
The good news is that the move will keep a few dozen jack-booted thugs out of OUR hair for a time and give them something IMPORTANT to do — unless, of course, they stay on our side of the border going house to house confiscating the weapons of the ranchers who have been doing the job the government won’t do.
With the BATF there, how long till we read the doper’s “Compound” has been set afire? LOL.
Ping!
My guess is they wil be checking local gunstores to see if they have been sellinig guns that wind up in the hands of drug dealers and gangs and then using this as an excuse to close them down.
Build the Duncan Hunter fence!
...to send reinforcements to the Southwest border to help contain the rampant violence of the Mexican drug cartel wars. Thirty-seven agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are being deployed to the region.37? Yeah, that oughta do it.
